EatScotland's independent assessor said:

"An excellent day out for both shopper and food lover alike."

Roast Scotch Sirloin of Beef
"The joint of roast beef looked irresistible: crisp and golden on the outside while oozing juice from the meat itself. The meat was as expected: full of flavour, extremely tender, succulent and a joy to eat."

Fruit Scone and Raspberry Jam
"The scone was fresh, full of flavour and of good texture. The scone and home-made raspberry jam were both of excellent quality."

"Brodie Countryfare is a great visitor attraction in its own right and is very popular with locals and visitors alike.  The restaurant carries a wide range of tasty home bakes right through to main meal offerings and is always, rightly, busy, so make sure you get there early."

Testimonial from a local customer:

"Thank you ALL for our delicious Sunday lunch.  Everything beautifully cooked and very scrummy.  To say what day it is, Mother's Day, the place is heaving you work as a team and cheerful with it.  Beautiful, thank you! You've made Mum's special day."
