What's On This Christmas at Brodie!
Christmas has arrived at Brodie Countryfare and the store is buzzing with excitement. December is always a really special time here and this year we have more fun than ever for visitors to enjoy. Throughout the whole of December, you can expect Christmas lights, decorations, and an overall festive touch.
Whether you're planning a day trip, lunch with the family or simply looking for gifts, here is everything you need to know and what’s happening at Brodie this Christmas.
Late Night Christmas Shopping
Busy schedule? Not to worry! Our late-night shopping evenings let you shop at a slower pace. The store is open until 7pm on selected dates, giving you plenty of time to explore our departments, gift shopping and to enjoy some of our finest food.
High Tea is served in the restaurant between 4 and 6:15pm, and the full menu runs until 6:30 with drinks and cakes available slightly longer, until 6:45. It is a great opportunity to fit in some extra shopping as it remains a popular part of tour busy festive period.
Late Night Christmas Shopping Dates: 10th,11th,17th and 18th of December.
Festive Food in the Restaurant
December is the perfect time to visit our restaurant.
You can enjoy a selection of delicious treats and Traditional Christmas Lunch 11:30-2pm every day until Christmas Eve. Our delicious lunch includes British turkey from Murdoch Bros Butchers, alongside all the trimmings and is ideal for get-togethers with family or friends following a browse around the shop.
There are plenty of treats on selection for those who prefer something sweeter. Christmas Pudding, Christmas Cake and freshly baked mince pies are available, all baked in-house! Why not try the Brodie speciality croffle which comes with a rich chocolate orange topping.
Our fantastic restaurant team have also put together a lovely Afternoon Tea, and the popular Mini Tea with a seasonal twist, served daily from 2:30pm.
To top all of these festive delights off, why not enjoy one of our Christmas themed drinks served daily?
Festive Delights in the Foodhall and Deli
For the food lovers, we also have our Foodhall and deli, which can be the highlight of the season. Explore this year’s Christmas hamper selection, available in all different sizes suited to every budget and taste. Our brilliant hamper team are always happy to help, and can even create a bespoke hamper filled with goodies of your choice!
In our deli, the cheese counter is full of decadent delights at this time of year, with an extensive selection to suit all of your needs – you will also find handmade chocolates, Scottish whisky and spirits, savoury treats and much more.
Festive Performances from Local Choirs
Christmas at Brodie Countryfare wouldn’t be complete without some music to enhance the experience. We are delighted to welcome carol singers from Dyke Primary School and the Choir from Dyke Church to sing live in store. Their visits always fill the environment with festive joy and bring a wonderful sense of community during the season.
